1.1. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

Brook Leisure reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time when convenient without prior notice. The use of this website following any such change constitutes your acceptance to these revised Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Content

The Content of Brook Leisure website, and the site as a whole, is intended solely for personal and commercial use by the users of our site. You are prohibited to copy, download, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, transmit, transfer, print or store any section of the website Content.

1.3 User Warranties

In placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information.

1.4 Protection Of Personal Data

Brook Leisure ensure the security of your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We Know Furniture only utilize the information supplied by you in a lawful manner for physical, electronic and administrative procedures. We strongly advise you to use all necessary precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet.

1.5 Colours

Brook Leisure have done our very best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the item(s) shown on this website. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. Some items displayed within our website are manufactured and/or hand made to create a distressed look.

1.6 Payment methods

Brook Leisure utilize both secure payment processor and PayPal. Our secure server accepts all major credit and debit cards, this insures that your online purchases are secure. Your credit and debit card information is not retained by Brook Leisure. We do not accept wire transfers or cheques. All payments must be made in Sterling and in full at the time of purchasing,

1.7 VAT

VAT is included in all item(s) available on our website.

1.8 Orders

Before placing your order, you must check the dimensions of the item(s) to ensure they can be delivered via normal access to the destination. All orders shall be processed once the full funds have cleared and an order update will be provided within 7 days to confirm an estimated date of delivery.

1.9 Order Cancellation

An email confirmation cancelling an order must be provided within 24 hours. Orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation and 25% restocking fee of the total amount.

2.0 Errors

In the event an item(s) listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit or debit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit or debit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including any delivery charges). Please allow 7 working days for your account to be credited.

2.1 Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If Brook Leisure do not supply the item(s) for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any monies already processed. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

2.2 Delivery

We offer a free delivery on all orders over £300. On completing your purchase you will be presented with one or more options for delivery, where an estimated timescale for delivery is provided, this is an estimate only and your items may be delayed in being received due to circumstances beyond our control (such as a courier delay, or at busy times).

Where you select a "next day delivery" option, orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays may not be dispatched for delivery until the following Monday and so may not be received until Tuesday.

Brook Leisure shall contact you within 7 days of placing your order to confirm the actual delivery date.

Brook Leisure couriers deliver to mainland United Kingdom only. Brook Leisure will necessitate reputable external courier companies Depending on the size/weight of the items in your order, delivery will be made by Royal Mail, Courier, Pallet (Freight) or white glove delivery service. Pallet deliveries are made where because of size/weight, other methods are not feasible. The delivery driver will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps, carry the furniture through a property, wheel the pallet across a gravel driveway or up particularly steep driveways. Unfortunately the delivery company will be unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them.

Please advise at Check-Out if your delivery address is difficult to find or inaccessible to large vehicles. This will ensure a faster, easier delivery to your door.

For areas outside mainland United Kingdom such as Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands All Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Northern Ireland and all other offshore islands additional external courier charges will apply. Charges shall be quoted for within 3 days at the time of purchase via email.

Our delivery service will contact you to set an appointment for your delivery according to the information given on the summary of your order. At this time of contact, you must inform our delivery service of any obstacles to delivery by normal access, (stairs, elevators, doors).

The driver will come directly to your home once your order leaves our warehouse. The item(s) are delivered to your front door and prices do not include a delivery upstairs nor the assembling of the furniture.

If Brook Leisure cannot deliver the item(s) on the agreed date because you are not at home or if they were not informed of special delivery requirements, you may have to pay an additional delivery charge of £25.00.

2.3 Acceptance

Before signing for the delivery, you must check for damaged or missing items, defects and other non-compliances. This includes checking the condition, packaging, the number of packages and the quantities.

2.4 Items received damaged

Every delivery is securely prepared in order to ensure maximum safety. If a product arrives damaged, in the first instance we can replace the damaged part as this tends to be the quickest solution. If it is not possible to do this we can organise the delivery of a complete new product. Customer satisfaction after delivery is our highest priority. The above two processes are methods of rectifying a problem and do not in any way effect your statutory rights to a full refund.

2.5 Goods that arrive different to how they have been described

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the goods delivered to you are exactly as described on our website, occasionally mistakes occur. If you receive a product that is not what you ordered and it does not look like a suitable upgrade, then please call us and we will resolve the matter with urgency. If you are not entirely happy with the alternative product or our ability to rectify the delivery mistake, then you are entitled to a full refund including your delivery charge and we will arrange to collect the goods at our cost.

2.6 Non Returnable Items

Brook Leisure are only insured to deliver the items to your abode. Any goods which are damaged while on your premises are non returnable and non refundable.

2.7 Termination

Brook Leisure reserve the right to terminate your account and restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these terms and conditions, including providing us with false information.
